It's kinda sad to see that the last time I updated my journal was before Otakon. Sweetlawd. SO A LITTLE UPDATE.

Life in General: is going quite well. I am now a freshman in Penn State University and i'm going for a major in Japanese with a minor in Russian. So yeah. Cool beans. I'm currently home on Thanksgiving break, then three more weeks of school before Christmas takes over my life, oh my god. I love my girlfriend, I love G-Dragon, I love my new rainbow bedsheets.

Fanfiction: is still on hold. I haven't even touched or looked at those, and I don't think the fact that I didn't like 358/2 Days is helping. xD I've actually been getting more into original stories, as well as co-writing. There's this one lovely story about God and Lucifer gettin' it on, but i'll spare you gaiz. BUT FOR NOW... college has kind of taken over my life, and I'm terrible at multi-tasking. Plus, honestly, at this point, everyone's lost interest in my updates, which is a very big, happy relief for me .

OH MY GAWD PAPER BAGS: Ok. xD A lot of people have been either praising or ragging on this and my group, so i'll just address this here. First, we had no intention of taking anyone's idea, if people have done so beforehand. ~Strawberry-Gun and I simply realized that we're not the most photogenic people on the face of the planet, and our wigs were lacking, so we decided to hide our shame in the only appropriate attire around. That, and happyplz faces make us laugh.

On that note, yes, if you would like to join the army of paper bag heads, please feel free to do so. We don't consider other people doing so as copying. The only time it's copying is when you use the exact same plz faces for your bags, as well as the exact same style and characters. Then you're just not bein' original. C'mon, guys.

Which leads me to...

Cosplay!: For now, my group and I have decided to take a step back from the paper bag heads. It's very difficult to enjoy conventions with such bulky things, as well as constantly being shoved into a corner to take a picture. Link and friends might possibly be back, and I am also planning to do TK from Digimon 02 with ~rawrimadinasore as my Kari. So that's pretty cool beans.

FIIIIIIINALLYYYYYY. LOOKIT ME, I'M IMPORTANT AND STUFF.
Being the poor college student that I am, as well as one with changing tastes, I've decided to go through my collection of art books (Kingdom Hearts, Kuroshitsuji, FMA etc.), doujinshi (One Piece, Phoenix Wright), manga (Mostly japanese, Soul Eater, One Piece, Naruto, Kuroshitsuji, Phoenix Wright, yaoiii), and plushies in hopes of selling them. I haven't set up a livejournal post or anything to display this yet, but if anyone's interested, i'll be sellin' 'em pretty cheap and they're all in like-new condition, so that should be up soon. Because I'm a hoarder and I just buy them, look at them once, then put them up on a shelf to look pretty. xD

WHAT'S UUUUPPP? So the time has come to be back in the swing of things. Active. Y'know. xD I've been rather busy, to be honest. Otakon, as well as graduating high school and getting ready for college... this summer's been pretty packed for me. Not to mention that I saw Riverdance live, but that's neither here nor there. xD

OTAKON... is this thursday. So after that whole to-do, expect videos and new deviations and what not. The exciting news is that we've re-done all the bags, as well as added a new member to our exciting little trio~ of , which would be ~rawrimadinasore <3. She's not really active at all on dA, but there ya go.

Otherwise, I haven't written much since my last update. There's one rather fantastic little story I have lurking in my documents, but nothing else. xD Once I organize my life, i'll get back on track with that.

Hello, dA! Long time no see! Despite some hopeful musings, I still live.

So it seems that being on hiatus and basically dead to the world is the In thing these days. I have nothing for you, alas. Cosplay work is still in-progress for Otakon. I'm going to let old comments go, seeing as replying two months later is rather silly. And my writing has basically shriveled up and died inside, so i'm gonna hold out until summer probably to get back into that. In all honestly, I think that while I still love my fandoms and everyone who's involved, I've moved on past the insanely fangirly step to other stuff. I've actually taken up OC RP on a marvelous board full of really talented writers, and I quite like it, so ... we'll see. Leaving so much fanfiction unfinished isn't exactly my thing, either D:.

I can say that by summer, though, I'll at least have cosplay pictures for you. And yes, bag head cosplay :3.

Otherwise, school, college decisions, critical papers, and lots of obsession with Breathe Carolina, 3OH!3, BoA's new album, and Big Bang have been invading my brain and I haven't been up to a whole bunch else. Turning 18, going to Disney World, haircut, blah blah blah. Yay, real life >D.

This is my official hiatus post, I suppose. Joining the crowd. I'll still be about. I always check my messages, even if I don't do anything about them, but I supposed it would be fair to everyone who's watching me to expect something to come when... there's nothing. Especially those who requested fics, lawdy, I apologize to you guys most of all, I feel like the worst person ever not for writing what I volunteered to write. One day, sirs. Oneday, I will make it up to you. Until then, i'll be dead. Oh, and on AIM, MSN, and updating my twitter (pineappleburst) of all things. xD

I entirely meant to let another month pass, at least, before my next journal entry, or at least until I finished ~Golden-Nightmare's request (which is almost half-done!). However, I really found that I need to ask something of you all.

Actually, this goes out to all of you who listen to j-pop, k-pop, rock, rap, y'know, etc.

I've just recently fallen deeply and madly in love with Big Bang, as a result of stumbling across Seung Ri's "Strong Baby." And now i'm quite hooked on them. They're fabulous, and I could go on for ages about how damn sexy G-Dragon is, but I will spare you all.

Considering this genre of music, I've already got quite a few taking up space in my itunes library: T.M.Revolution, abingdon boys school, Access, SS501, DBSK, Arashi, Super Junior _{(With that boy-kissing Heechul, teehee >D)}, Rip Slyme, nobodyknows+, Koda Kumi, Nami Amuro, AAA, Folder 5, High and MIGHTY Color, Perfume, etc.

Although not much of BoA, Gackt, KAT-TUN, Wonder Girls, Nana Kitade, Mell, Rain, Polysics, The Trax, and only Utada Hikaru's main songs.

My question is, what have you all been listening to lately in terms of the music from Japan, Korea, etc? And what could you possibly recommend? I've been dying to sink into some new bands and groups, and Big Bang definitely reminded me of how I love finding and getting hooked onto new music. Even some song recommendations would be lovely.
